Q: What is the age/grade range served?

A: Currently, we offer coaching for students ranging from middle school to college aged.

Q: Do students need prerequisite skills to use this service?

A: As we are a virtual platform; students do need to have basic computer usage skills to fully engage in our services.

Q: How often will my child meet with a learning specialist?

A: Coaching sessions are offered in packages of 30 minutes or 1 hour; occurring 1 or 2 times per week.

Q: Is a computer required to receive services?

A: Yes. Since Smart Start is a virtual learning platform, computer and internet access are necessary. (Weekend Think-In workshops are the exception as they are offered in-person.)

Q: How is progress reported?

A: Progress report intervals depend upon the type of package chosen. Example: a semester (18 weeks) package would consist of 6 custom progress reports.

Q: How many students are in a "virtual class" at a time?

A: 3-5 students- grouped by age and skills focus.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: We offer a wide variety of learning packages to fit your needs. We recommend packages based upon the needs and desired outcomes you have for your learner. Schedule a consult today to help us determine which package is best for you!
